Competition To The Electric Chair Bliss Dulce

Bliss was in a tight competition for a scholarship, and killed the competition.  Poor planning as she was over 18 at the time.  She has been on death row for her entire adult life.  She ran out of appeals, but got an unexpected stay, rumors were swirling around the most recent electrocution, and a news outlet sued for the right to broadcast her execution.  To expose the process to the light of day, they won, now she’ll fry.

This video will focus mostly on the inmate’s preparation for execution, the execution itself is rather quick.

Bliss Dulce is sitting at a table being interviewed by the news reporter. Her hands are cuffed in front of her and her ankles are shackled. She is being asked questions before her execution.

The guard is explaining what will happen to the news reporter.

Inmate is in her cell wearing the prison uniform writing her last words.  Her execution outfit is folded on her cot (blouse, jacket, knee length skirt black stockings, and heels, professional attire suitable for a job interview).  There is also a bucket of warm water with a sponge and a towel.

Bliss hears the guard call out: “Two hours.”

Upon hearing this she closes her eyes and takes a few deep breaths which she slowly releases to steady her nerves.  She strips off the uniform and begins to clean herself.

The sponge bath section is fairly long, this is the last thing that she will ever do for herself. She cleans every inch of her body, then takes just as much time drying off. She puts on her execution outfit, picks up her last words and begins pacing, studying her planned statement.

Before she knows it her time is up. She drops the paper surprised when the guard enters. Bliss offers no resistance, choking back tears as she is cuffed and lead away.

She is quietly crying as she approaches the chair.  Bliss steps out of her shoes and is guided to the chair.  She sits tentatively on the very edge, but offers no resistance as the guard pushes her back to the back rest.  Bliss stares straight ahead crying as she is strapped in.  She is careful not to look at the guard until he reads her warrant.

When asked for her last words she stumbles on them and can not remember what she wrote. Reality has hit and she can not think straight.

The execution begins, looking for a minute and a half of gaged screams and a violent struggle to free herself followed by 30 seconds of her going ridge as her head smokes.  The buzz stops and she goes limp, and is pronounced dead.

The inmate is naked on a slab, tongue protruding from her lips, staring lifelessly. The guard is holding the written last words. He starts to read what she actually wanted to say.
