Starring Arielle Lane and Scott Torvea
A cheerleading squad is on a tour of an old shutdown prison, now a museum.
Upon arrival on death row, the tour guide begins his presentation of the old gas chamber. He explains that back in the 60s a young woman was executed by gas here. But it was later found out she was completely innocent. In fact, she was on the other end of the state when the crime happened. Stories abound about how the gas chamber is haunted by the young executed woman.
It’s the end of a long tour, and the tour guide invites the touring cheerleaders to take their time and have a good look at all the museum exhibits. One of the cheerleaders remains at the gas chamber, and wanders in, thinking maybe she’ll see the ghost of the executed woman.
Moments later,
Satisfied she is not going to see the ghost, she decides to sit in the chair. She takes a minute wondering to herself what it would be like to be executed by gas. Ready to leave the cheerleader tries to get up only to suddenly find herself strapped to the chair. Her wrists, chest, lap and ankles all strapped down tight. Under the chair is a cup of white cyanide powder suspended over a bowl of acid. The cup of powder tips over dumping the cyanide powder into the acid creating a vigorous reaction of bubbling foam and white vapors……cyanide gas!
Hearing the reaction under the chair the cheerleader wonders if it’s real gas. At first little effect, the cheerleader then starts lightly coughing. Her coughing keeps getting worse and worse until she starts foaming from her mouth and struggling to breath. Shortly after she convulsions start. The mouth frothing, convulsions gets worse and worse, and her breathing get harder and harder. She starts to get light headed and starts weakening.
Then the convulsions ease as the cheerleader gets weaker and weaker, and more and more light headed and dizzy, but the foaming frothing from the mouth keeps getting worse and she keeps gasping to breath. She finally lets her head drop, she closes her eyes, and passes out. The heart monitor stops beeping, and sounds a long tone.
Scene fades to black….
Then the chamber door suddenly opens, the cheerleader wakes up to find she’s no longer strapped down, but remains sitting. The tour guide asks her if she’s ok, she replies yes she fine. The cheerleader stands up and walks out of the gas chamber and joins the tour guide just outside.
After a couple seconds, and a quick look back at the inside of the gas chamber, the cheerleader asks, “I don’t suppose you have a haunted electric chair I could try??”.
