Tragic Error In Judgment Bliss Dulce and Dakota Charms

Two friends are in a prison cell on death row.  Dakota got into a fight with an ex, pushed him, he fell broke his neck.  An accident, but she didn’t call 911, she called her friend, Bliss.  Bliss came over saw a body and panicked. They decided to try to hide the body and got pulled over with a corpse in the trunk of the car.

Given the history between Dakota and the victim and the lack of a 911 call the jury didn’t believe it was an accident.  Dakota a was convicted of murder, Bliss convicted as an accessory, they both got the chair.

Scene 1: The day of Dakota’s execution

Bliss is in a prison jump suit, she is helping Dakota into a woman’s suite. Dakota’s scared, choking back tears, Bliss is trying to comfort her.  She finishes dressing and the guard comes, to lead her to the chair.  Dakota is trying to be brave, but she’s still choking back tears.

She asks if Bliss can come with her, the guard agrees. Bliss holds Dakota’s hand as she is lead to the chair.

Scene 2: Dakota executed

Dakota is seated in the chair and the guard straps her in. Wrist, belt across her mid rift, ankles, then biceps and knees.  The calf is wired up. Bliss stays by her side holding her hand, except for a brief period while the guard is securing that arm.  Dakota is still fighting tears, Bliss is talking to her throughout the strap down, speaking softly, trying to comfort her.

Dakota is given a chance to make a final statement, she tearfully declares that it was an accident, then she says that it was her fault and Bliss wasn’t even there when she killed her ex, Bliss shouldn’t have to pay.

She turns to Bliss and begs forgiveness for getting her involved.  Bliss, feels like Dakota’s statement might help with her request for clemency, so she’s sincere when she tells Dakota that she forgives her.

Dakota is gagged, blindfolded, then her head is wired up.  She stays calm until the guard orders Bliss to move away from her.  Once Bliss lets go of her hand, Dakota’s fear reaction shifts, but she can’t really struggle much at this point.

The guard tells Bliss that she might want to look away, she does.

An electric buzz fills the room, the actual execution is short, about a minute of current, then Dakota goes limp.  Bliss turns and watches as Dakota is declared dead. When he removes the headpiece blindfold and gag, Dakota appears to be sleeping peacefully.  Bliss starts morning her friend but is relieved that she went “peacefully.”

The guard responds that it’s usually quicker when when an inmate is calm, adrenaline is bad for the condemned

Scene 3 No mercy for Bliss

Bliss has opted for a less conservative outfit, It’s black and her breasts will pop out when the current hits her, it’s also short enough to show off as much nudity as she does once she’s strapped in.  She expected to have her sentence commuted, she would do more time, but after Dakota’s confession she didn’t think they would kill her.

She talks about how if she had just called an ambulance she wouldn’t have gone to prison, and she would pick Dakota up when she got out in a year or two.

The time comes and he takes Bliss to the chair, she’s bargaining through the walk and strap down. Her last words are a sobbing plea as the gag, blindfold and head piece is set. She’s crying into the gag as the current starts to flow.

Unlike Dakota, Bliss is amped up on adrenaline, and she actually struggles against the current trying to escape the chair through the first cycle.

After the current stops she pants for a few moments to catch her breath, then starts trying to get out of the chair.

A muffled scream accompanies the second cycle she shakes in the chair.

After cycle two she just sits in the hair sobbing, she clenches the arm rests as though she can hold herself in this world, but she’s stopped struggling, she knows that there will be no mercy.

She jerks ridged still gripping the arm rest as cycle three starts.  Somewhere in the middle of shock three she loses her death grip on the armrest and her hands and arms just shake (She’s surrendered to her fate).

She’s limp, knocked out when cycle three stops she goes limp. One more cycle just to make sure.  Afterwards, when the gag and blindfold is removed, it does not look like she is sleeping peacefully.
