Unfaithful Events
Starring Bliss Dulce, Lee Von Lux and Scott Torvea
Lust, Anger and Death. When Bliss finds out about the affair between best friend and her fiancé, one accident leads to a series of deaths in this ghostly film.
A friend tells Bliss that she saw her best friend (Lee Von Lux) and her fiancé together at the hotel where she works. At first Bliss thinks it is a mistake, she has known Lee her whole life! She would never betray her like that. But her friend has pictures. Bliss goes to confront Lee about it. At first Bliss tries to confirm where she was. Hoping that maybe they bumped into each other or some other reasonable excuse. But Lee holds to her story. She tells Bliss she was out of town and alone.
When Bliss confronts her with the truth, Lee gets angry and walks out. Bliss knows Lee, and by getting angry and walking out she all but admitted she was guilty. That is how Lee got out of so much when they were young. Now certain that Lee betrayed her, she follows her into the bedroom. The argument continues with Bliss accusing Lee of being with her fiancé. The arguing escalates and they start pushing each other.
But Lee gets angry and shoves Bliss. Bliss stumbles back, falling and hitting her head on the bed post. Lee stops and calls out for Bliss, but there is no movement from the woman. Bliss is laying on the floor, not moving. Lee rushes to her friend and checks her pulse and breath, nothing. She is gone. Lee panics and tries to figure out what to do. Finally she decides to call the only person that might be able to help, her lover and Bliss’s fiancé (Scott Torvea).
When he gets there she shows him the body of his fiancee laying on the floor. Lee is frantic telling him they have to do something. Scott comes up with an idea. They will stage the body at their warehouse and make it look like an accident.
One year later
Lee walks into her room and notices a box sitting on the dresser. She opens it and finds a strange necklace with a charm on it. There is some kind of writing on it and it looks familiar. She knows she has seen it somewhere before but can’t place it.
Finally she decides to call Scott, maybe he put it there. He is always buying gifts and leaving them for her to find. When she asks him about it he tells her he found it in the storage unit with some of Bliss’s old stuff. He figured she would like it since she and Bliss liked the same kind of things.
Right away Lee remembers where she saw it before. It was Bliss’s abuela’s chest. She slams the lid closed and yells at Scott. Telling him that Bliss’s grandmother was into voodoo and other crazy things. He just laughs at her telling her it is all fake. She hangs up the phone and looks to see if she can figure out what it is. It doesn’t take her long to find out it is a spirit box or box of souls. It is meant to hold the soul of the restless dead.
And by opening the box she set it free. Lee tries to figure out what to do, but she doesn’t remember enough about it. She was so young when she watched her abuela do it. As she is trying to figure out what to do her reflection is replaced by Bliss watching her. Lee is too upset to even notice her dead friend watching her in the mirror.
Later that evening
Lee is in bed sleeping when Bliss comes to visit. At first she watches her then climbs in bed and fades into her. Later Scott comes over and climbs into bed with Lee. He snuggles up against her but she changes. Scott actually sees Bliss laying beside him instead of Lee. He jumps up and Lee smiles and asks what’s wrong.
After a few seconds he knows something is not right and makes a run for it. While he is stumbling to get the door open. Lee comes up behind him with a bat. Once finished she calls the police and turns herself in.
Trial
The trial is quick. Lee Von Lux pleaded guilty to killing Scott Torvea. She also admitted to killing Bliss Dulce. Lee seemed happy to admit it and showed no remorse. She tells the judge she should be punished for what she did. After looking at the mental evaluation and all of the testimony the judge sentences her to death by the electric chair.
She is handcuffed and shackled and taken back to her cell. The entire time she is in prison she is compliant and almost happy to be there. Because Bliss is in there with her, in control. Lee can only sit inside her own head and watch in horror as her friend does nothing to help her.
Final Walk
Her jail cell slides open then the guard handcuffs and shackles her. Grabs her by the arm and walks her to the electric chair. It is a long walk but Lee walks almost gingerly with a smug smile on her face.
The guard walks her into the room with the electric chair. Lee sits down with the same smile on her face. As if she were about to get a pedicure. The guard straps her into the chair. Before he puts the ball gag into her mouth he asks if she has any last words. She smiles and replies “Just do it”.
Once she is strapped in and gagged he places the metal head piece and ankle strap on her. He stands back and the guard tells the executioner to do it. There is a loud click as the switch is flipped and the electricity is heard. Her body spasms and for a second or two you can see both Lee and Bliss in the chair. Then it is only Lee, alone in the chair.
The electricity stops, Lee gathers herself. Then she realizes where she is and screams for help. She tries to yell through her gag that she didn’t do it! But no one is listening to her now. Her fate is sealed. The guard yells, “hit it again!”, and the electricity makes her vibrate.
After a few moments the electricity stops. She collapses but quickly recovers. The guards yells “hit it again”. But this time there is something wrong with the chair. The “juice” seems to have been amplified. And there is smoke slowly rising from her head.
This time when the electricity is turned off she is truly gone. The guard checks her heart with a stethoscope and announces she is dead. He also states that her body will be ready for viewing in about 30 minutes. She is seen on a coroner’s table.
